We are currently closed to Unsolicited Submissions

Destapled accepts unsolicited submissions during our open reading periods in May and November. Submissions are accepted via Submittable until we reach our limit. We do not accept or consider work that was written by AI or used AI in any capacity.

5 poems or 10 pages. Submissions should be in one file in .docx or pdf.
5000-word limit, but we prefer works in the 3000 range. Submissions should be in one file in .docx or pdf.

All submissions must include a cover letter and a 50-word bio.

Simultaneous submissions are allowed, just let us know if your piece has been accepted elsewhere.

We do not accept previously published work.

Please only send one submission per reading period.

All rights revert to the authors upon publication, though we ask you cite Destapled when published elsewhere or in anthology.
